A research collaboration from the Department of Radiology at West China Hospital of Sichuan University, the Institute for Bioengineering of Barcelona, and University College London has announced a breakthrough: using a novel nanomedicine strategy, they successfully cleared 45% of amyloid-beta (Aβ) plaques from the brains of Alzheimer's disease model mice within just 2 hours. This intervention led to sustained recovery of impaired cognitive functions for up to 6 months.
