Dear Authors,

 

We are delighted to announce that Journal of Brain and Spine will be dedicating a special issue to “Stroke Rehabilitation Therapies”. Stroke remains a leading cause of long-term disability worldwide, and effective rehabilitation therapies are crucial for improving the functional outcomes and quality of life for stroke survivors. This special issue seeks to compile the latest research findings, clinical experiences, and innovative approaches in stroke rehabilitation to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and promote advancements in this vital field.

 

We warmly welcome researchers, clinicians, rehabilitation specialists to submit their original research articles, case reports, review articles, and opinion pieces on topics such as:

Early mobilization and intensive rehabilitation protocols post - stroke

Task - oriented training and neuroplasticity - based rehabilitation interventions

Use of robotics and virtual reality in stroke rehabilitation

Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and secondary prevention strategies in stroke patients

Psychological support and cognitive rehabilitation for post - stroke emotional and cognitive impairments

Traditional rehabilitation techniques combined with modern technological aids

 

The submitted manuscripts will be subjected to a stringent peer - review process to ensure the scientific rigor and clinical relevance of the content. The special issue is expected to be published in March 15, 2026.

Submission Deadline: 2026-01-31

Notification of Acceptance: 2026-02-05

Final Manuscript Due: 2026-02-15
